Investment Objective


The investment objective of the Scheme will be to generate returns that correspond closely to the returns generated by LIC MF Gold Exchange Traded Fund (LIC MF Gold ETF). There is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

Minimum Application Amount/switch in


Application Amount (Other than fresh purchase through SIP) – Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Rs.1 thereafter.
SIP Amount –
  1. Daily – Rs. 100/- and in multiples of Re.1/- thereafter.
  2. Monthly – Rs. 200/- and in multiples of Re.1/- thereafter.
  3. Quarterly – Rs. 1,000/- and in multiples of Re.1/- thereafter

  • 1% for exit (redemption / switchout / transfer /SWP) within 15 days from the date of allotment.

Investment Strategy


  • The Scheme follows a passive investment strategy. The Fund shall be managed in line with the Investment Objective to generate returns that correspond closely to the returns generated by LIC MF Gold Exchange Traded Fund and the annualized tracking error is expected to be maintained within 2%. To realize this objective, the investment strategy of the Scheme would be to invest passively in LIC MF Gold Exchange Traded Fund. The Scheme will remain invested in the underlying scheme regardless of the prevailing gold price or future outlook for this asset class. However, the performance of the Fund will also be impacted by the delay in receipt of application money.

Short-term fixed deposits shall be held in the name of the Scheme and the duration of such fixed deposit shall not exceed 91 days from the date of deposit.

The Scheme offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan.
  • Regular Plan – This plan is for investors who wish to route their investment through any distributor.
  • Direct Plan – This plan is for investors investing directly with the mutual fund.
The Regular and Direct plan will be having a common portfolio.

The Scheme has only Growth Option.
